Family Vintage Mini Book

I got it in my head yesterday that i wanted to find a project kit to work on. Preferrably a mini book so i began the big hunt and it was not proving very productive. Couldnt find anything for the longest time. So i finally came across this blog http://withthislifeiwilllive.blogspot.com/ and i fell in love with the Family Vintage book. Of course i then realize she is teaching it for a class all the way on the opposite coast of me in California. So after all that searching i came up with something i couldnt have. I liked it so much though i almost jokingly emailed her and asked if i could buy and class spot and have the kit shipped to me. To my surprise she emailed me back and said yes! There was ONE spot left. I knew it was meant to be then and i would have this gorgeous mini book kit to create with. I cannot wait to get this little goodie. Its beautiful!

American Crafts

So these are my official entries i sent in for the DT call. I have been faithfully sending them my work every year for some time. haha. Hopefully they will like it this year. Love this company! Dont think i could live without Thickers!

I just adore shoe shopping even if its not for me. So as soon as they arrive Maddie will be sporting some really cute shoes i ordered from Zappos. Anyone who knows her knows she is obsessed with Elmo. So i couldnt resist these little cuties.



And if you know me you know i am a lover of anything green so she of course had to get these also..especially since they were the last pair in her size.



Overall a succesfull shopping experience!

This is for the LEO Challenge #3 at Willow Traders. I was bad and skipped the 2nd one. Glad i got to do this one though. It was a Becky Higgins sketch. Love sketches! They get the creative juices flowing. Heres my take

Kit For Charity

A few layouts

Just coming on to share two layouts . Doing a challenge over at the Willow Traders board. We had to life something in the gallery so i chose a layout by Kimber. Fun challenge. Heres my layout

Cosmo Cricket DT Call

So im on vacation at moms house for a few weeks but when i saw this i knew i had to try. I love this company and their products are so fun. So i dug up a few things from my gallery and saved them to my sisters computer and ran to A.C. Moore hoping they carried their goodies. I found lots of paper..but nothing else. Ughhhhhh. So the last two are my version of making do with what i have haha. I still love how they turned out though. Hoping Cosmo will too.

For this one i used the Early Bird papers and chipboards. This is my favorite line yet.



This one has some Girl Friday papers..another personal favorite of mine.



More Girl Friday on this card. I love embossing papers. So fun.



Now these next two are the "short on supplies" layouts.

This was difficult to scan since it was a white background and also had an "off the page" element (paper on top). These are more Girl Friday papers.

A Few For Sharing.

The first three i did on National Scrapbook Day..i had a little crop here at the house which ive started doing monthly. Its been lots of fun.. The last one is totally freestyle and off the wall....just a funny page i hope is not offensive at all. I really laughed at it hahahaha DH might not think its so funny though

A New Kit Club

So ive decided to take the plunge and try out running my very own kit club. Im looking for someone who might be interested in designing for me while we get up and running. We will be offering kits with things for journaling and lettering. No fancy call. Just post a link to your gallery here.
